滨海湿地生态保护与修复国际学术会议

滨海湿地生态系统作为一个多圈层、多地带强烈交互的复杂关键地带，是地貌、地球流体和生物地球化学过程相互作用频繁的区域，是地球上生产力、生物多样性和生态服务价值最高的生态系统之一，在减缓和适应气候变化以及服务人类社会发展方面发挥着重要作用。同时，滨海湿地也是对气候变化响应极为敏感、受人类强烈干扰的生态系统。气候变暖、人类活动导致滨海湿地生境破碎化、生物多样性锐减、土壤有机质损失等一系列生态环境问题。因此，开展全球滨海湿地生态保护与修复的研究具有重要的现实意义。为响应2023年“世界湿地日”的主题— —“湿地恢复”，践行我国重大生态战略以及履行《湿地公约》国际义务，特此邀请世界范围内的科研院所、高等院校、政府企事业等专家学者、管理决策者和学生，定于2023年8月19-21日，围绕滨海湿地保护与管理、滨海湿地资源利用、湿地生态系统功能评价等，在中国滨州共同探讨滨海湿地生态保护与修复的最新理论与技术研究。滨海湿地生态保护与修复国际学术会议（The International Symposium on Coastal Wetland Ecological Conservation and Restoration）遵循“绿色、生态、公益、开放、可持续”宗旨，促进滨海湿地国际交流合作，携手共建人与自然生命共同体。

Coastal wetlands are the complex and critical zone with strong interaction of multiple spheres and zones, where landform, earth fluid and biogeochemical processes frequently interact. Coastal wetlands hold high productivity, biodiversity and ecological services, and play an important role in mitigating and adapting to climate change and serving the development of human society. Coastal wetlands are sensitive to climate change and human disturbances. Climate warming and human activities lead to a series of ecological and environmental problems, such as habitat fragmentation, sharp decline in biodiversity and loss of soil organic matter. Therefore, it is of great practical significance to proceedthe ecological conservation and restoration of global coastal wetlands. Answering the theme of World Wetlands Day in 2023--Wetland Recovery, implementing China's major ecological strategy and fulfilling the international obligations of the《Wetland Convention》, we sincerely invite experts, scholars, managers and students from scientific research institutes, colleges, governments and enterprise over the world to gather in Binzhou, China on August 19-21, 2023. The International Symposium will discuss the latest theories and technologies of coastal wetland ecological conservation and restoration, focusing on protection and management of coastal wetlands, utilization of coastal wetland resources, and evaluation of ecosystem functions. The International Symposium which adheres to the tenet of green, ecological, public welfare, open, and sustainable, is expected to promote international exchanges and cooperation of coastal wetlandsas well as to help build the human and natural life community.
